KEVIN LOCKETTE, PT
Kevin has been practicing as a physical therapist in the rehabilitation field since 1989. He was a recent (2000) president of HAPTA (Hawaii Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association) and the primary author of a medical text on rehabilitation, Conditioning with Physical Disabilities, Human Kinetic Publishers 1994.
Kevin has extensive experience in acute rehabilitation and is the founder of what is now the nation's largest wellness program for individuals with physical disabilities at the renown Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Kevin is a past head coach for the United States Disable Sports Team (A member of the U.S. Olympic Committee) and coached in International games including the World Championships and the Paralympics in Barcelona, Spain in 1992. Kevin is presently on the Clinical Advisory Council for the Multiple Sclerosis Society-Hawaii.
Kevin enjoys canoe paddling and participates in the Moloka'i Hoe every year. He is also an avid baseball fan and attends UH sports whenever he can. Kevin is not only a physical therapist, but also father of two, athlete, and non-fiction history buff. He is musically inclined in the harmonica and guitar with a love for the blues.
GINGER LOCKETTE, PT
Ginger is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina in 1990. She started her professional career at the prestigious Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago with a focus on neurological rehabilitation.
Ginger moved to Hawaii in 1993 and has since worked in a variety of settings including inpatient acute rehabilitation and outpatient orthopedics. Ginger has had extensive continuing education in manual therapy and orthopedics. Ginger's extensive experience allows her to treat both neurological and orthopedic cases with proficiency.
Ginger enjoys spending a lot of time outdoors with Kevin and their two children. The first year Ginger was in Hawaii she participated in the canoe race, Wahine O Ke Kai, and has done so ever since. She is active in her community and is currently on the Board of Directors at Kailua Methodist Preschool.
PEGGY HILL, PT
Peggy is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma in 1992. Peggy’s professional experience includes Director of Physical Medicine Department at Hillcrest Health Center in Oklahoma City for 8 years prior to moving to Kailua. Peggy has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics as well as geriatric rehabilitation in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Peggy loves being with her two children. She also keeps herself healthy and busy with running, including participating in marathons and is a member in the Windward Rotary Club.
She has been to Uganda and Kenya on a mission trip and plans on returning soon.
